The next step was to make the shuttering for the drainage canal and to fit the grid. Meanwhile some of the workers were fitting the stones for the skirting and the walls. After the works finished, the patio was tiled.

The workers first demolished the existing concrete and excavate the foundations. The drainage pipes along part of the perimeter wall and the one leading to the house were changed. Then the area was reinforced and the concrete was poured.
