Building a house in Varna

The shell construction of their house includes the following building works involved in the execution of the main structural framework of the building:

   1) Preparatory works – setting up string lines and layout marking;
   2) Earthworks – machine and manual excavation, loading and transportation of excavated soil, preparation of the earth by leveling and compaction, backfilling and layer-by-layer compaction using a vibrating rammer;
   3) Base layers – backfill gravel with compaction, fit polyethylene membrane (under concrete and flooring);
   4) Insulation works – installation of XPS thermal insulation beneath flooring at elevation −2.50, beneath veranda flooring at elevation −0.10, as well as on strip foundations and basement walls; also installation of two layers of waterproofing (with and without mineral finish) on strip foundations and basement walls;
   5) Shuttering works – shuttering for underlay concrete, strip foundations, footings and ground beams, basement walls and columns, as well as slabs, beams, staircase;
   6) Concrete works – pour underlay concrete, pouring of concrete for strip foundations, footings and ground beams, basement walls, columns, slabs, floors and curbs;
   7) Reinforcement works – supply and fit reinforcement for strip foundations;
   8) Plumbing installations within foundations.
