Construction of foundations for a photovoltaic power plant near Dobrich

Varaks Construction Company completed the construction and installation works for the foundations of a new photovoltaic power plant near Dobrich. The project included the following construction activities:

• Site preparation and temporary construction site organization;
• Setting out and layout marking;
• Mechanical and manual excavation for foundation pits in accordance with the required dimensions and elevations;
• Transport excavated soil and preparation of the base (including leveling and compaction);
• Backfill with gravel with subsequent compaction;
• Supply and pour of blinding concrete;
• Supply and fit waterproofing;
• Supply and pour concrete with admixtures to enhance operational performance and structural durability;
• Supply and fit complex reinforcement assemblies;
• Formwork installation and removal;
• Fabrication and installation of a precast concrete panel;
• Installation of a galvanized steel cover;
• Performance of laboratory quality control and testing;
• Execution of all related transportation, loading/unloading and organizational activities necessary for the successful completion of the project.

The project was carried out with a strong focus on construction quality, adherence to project deadlines, and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
