Our happy clients recommended us to their friends, who today also chose Varaks construction company to achieve their dream of a new, modern and cozy home in Varna.
The shell construction of their house includes the following building works involved in the execution of the main structural framework of the building:
1) Preparatory works – setting up string lines and layout marking;
2) Earthworks – machine and manual excavation, loading and transportation of excavated soil, preparation of the earth by leveling and compaction, backfilling and layer-by-layer compaction using a vibrating rammer;
3) Base layers – backfill gravel with compaction, fit polyethylene membrane (under concrete and flooring);
4) Insulation works – installation of XPS thermal insulation beneath flooring at elevation −2.50, beneath veranda flooring at elevation −0.10, as well as on strip foundations and basement walls; also installation of two layers of waterproofing (with and without mineral finish) on strip foundations and basement walls;
5) Shuttering works – shuttering for underlay concrete, strip foundations, footings and ground beams, basement walls and columns, as well as slabs, beams, staircase;
6) Concrete works – pour underlay concrete, pouring of concrete for strip foundations, footings and ground beams, basement walls, columns, slabs, floors and curbs;
7) Reinforcement works – supply and fit reinforcement for strip foundations;
8) Plumbing installations within foundations.
The construction of the structural shell of this house in Varna is progressing at an excellent pace. The team of construction company Varaks completed the formwork for the slab at level 0 and for the internal staircase. This was followed by the installation of the reinforcement for the concrete slab and staircase structure. The concrete for the slab at level 0 has been poured, with the shuttering securely braced using adjustable steel props prior to concreting, ensuring safety and precision throughout the construction process.
Waterproofing has been laid in the foundations, which protects the structure from moisture and groundwater. The process includes laying a bitumen primer for preparing the base, gas-flame laying of the first layer of bitumen waterproofing without mineral sprinkling and subsequent laying of a second protective layer of bitumen waterproofing with sprinkling.
This is followed by the installation of XPS thermal insulation (Fibran), followed by the installation of a profiled drainage membrane (Fundalin), which will protect the waterproofing and ensure effective removal of moisture from the foundations.
Once the concrete had reached the required strength, the formwork was removed.
The construction of the single-family house in Varna continues with reinforcement, formwork and strengthening of the strip foundations, followed by concreting. Precise measurement of the elevations has been done. After preparing the base, backfill with gravel was done by compaction plate at elevation - 2.50. The team of building company Varaks made a reinforced concrete slab at elevation -2.50, after fitting XPS thermal insulation (Fibran), a polyethylene membrane and a reinforcing mesh. After concreting and smoothing the slab, the construction of reinforced concrete walls and columns began up to elevation 0.00 with shuttering, fitting of reinforcement and structural strengthening.
Construction company Varaks began building this house in Varna by setting out the building layout, determining the required levels, and setting out the grade. After completing the preparatory work, a mechanized excavation of the foundations was done. The building workers then finished shaping the excavation by hand.
